Finalizing Projects and AHRS Testing

This week a couple of designer and apprentice projects have been coming to a close such as the hydras mounts, which have been finalized and printed, lid handles, which have also been finalized, a new GUI for labeling images for computer vision, and PCB milling.

Many mechanical recruits have made great progress in their project proposals and are either finalizing designs or beginning manufacturing. Software recruits are now learning how to use Arduinos, and electrical recruits have completed their arduino projects and are learning C programming.

This Saturday, Adam Loeffler, Software Lead, guided software and mechanical recruits in more than three hours of AHRS testing. Having gathered data from this testing, we hope to fix problems of drifting encountered during the RoboSub 2017 competition.
