Pre-Qualifying Run
Yesterday, Perseverance did a pre-qualifying run for the upcoming RoboSub competition! In order to pre-qualify, the AUV must go through a gate, go around a fixed post then come back through the gate. Watch our pre-qualifying run below: #RoboSub #prequalifying #testing #competition

Design Presentation at MTS Meeting
Mechatronics recently had the opportunity of presenting the design of our autonomous underwater vehicle, Perseverance, at the San Diego's Marine Technology Society (MTS) monthly meeting. We got great feedback and made some connections! A big thank you to MTS for the opportunity. Check out their monthly series at http://www.mts-sandiego.org/. #mts #bluetech #RoboSub #presentation

2017 RoboSub Introduction Video
Here is our introduction video for the 2017 RoboSub Competition. A huge thank-you to Corey Pritts for putting together this video for us! #robosub #competition #introduction #video
Testing Mission Control
Another successful testing session! Our software lead, Adam Loeffler, narrated a simulated mission to show Perseverance doing a successful yaw, roll, pitch, and depth calibration after hours of PID tuning! See the video here. #PIDcontrol #simulatedmission #robosub #testing #perseverance

Leak Test
Completed initial assembly of Perseverance and conducted a thorough a leak test. It was a complete success, we have a watertight enclosure. #perseverance #swim #robosub
