Overwatch

Overwatch is a 9' fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) designed to compete at the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International Student Unmanned Aerial Systems (AUVSI SUAS ) competition hosted in Maryland.

The wings are made of carbon fiber skinned, Kevlar reinforced, foam airfoils.  The fuselage is made of heat activated, pre-impregnated carbon fiber and fiberglass.  Five iterations of this aircraft were fabricated, with successful proof of flight, landing, and autonomous holding patterns achieved.
