Drew was the Electrical Lead from 2014-2015 following Josh Pritts and was tasked with the fabrication of the electrical systems. He troubleshooted embedded system code and electrical testing with a team of 6 engineering students. Drew also designed the Thruster Control and Power Management PCBs.
KC Jack Nave
Senior Design & Mechanical Lead
KC is a Mechanical Engineer who was a member from 2015-2018. He spearheaded the design of the 2017 RoboSub, Perseverance, as Mechanical Lead. He also led the vehicle test bed senior design project for 2018. He previously served as Mechanical Team Lead and designer on Overwatch.
Sarah is a Mechanical Engineering who was a team member from 2015-2021. She previously was the President for both Scion and Pico managing sponsorship acquisition and team communications. Before that, she was Vice President and Mechanical Project Manager for Perseverance's payload systems.
Software Lead & Electrical Co-Lead
Pierce is a Electrical Engineer perusing his PhD in robotics who was a team member from 2018-2021. He previously served as Software Lead for Perseverance and led the development of the 2020 vehicle's software system, Mech OS. Afterwards he was the Electrical Co-Lead designing Scion's Power Management System and managing Pico's Electrical system.
Christian is an Applied Math and Computer Science major who was a team member from 2018-2021. He contributed with advanced control systems and precise mission code for Perseverance. Additionally, his efficient system architectures laid the framework for Pico and future robots' containerization.
